ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES

The school building has been improved and refurbished over recent years. There are 5 primary classrooms. The school also has specialist teaching rooms for Science, Art, Design Technology, Food Technology, ICT and a Library. There are also small group teaching rooms and offices. The Hall is used for school assembly, PE, music and drama. At lunchtime school meals are cooked on the premises and served in the hall. All teaching areas are equipped and maintained to a high standard. The school is very well equipped with computers and has interactive white boards in every classroom.

The school is a single storey building and is accessible for non-ambulant people. There are special toilet and hygiene facilities for non-ambulant people.

Outside, there are separate foundation stage, primary and secondary hard play areas. There is also a large playing field and an adventure playground and exercise area.

The school has two minibuses. One was bought in 1998 with the help of the Variety Club. A second was bought in 2004 with funds raised by local Knaresborough charities. The newer bus has a tail lift for use by non-ambulant pupils.
