ADMISSION TO THE FOREST SCHOOL

Pupils are admitted to the school following referral by North Yorkshire County Council. They are referred following an assessment which shows that they have needs which might be met at The Forest School. All pupils attending our school have statements of special educational needs naming The Forest School.

Parents or carers are invited to visit the school with their son or daughter. When a place has been offered and accepted, arrangements are made for the admission of the pupil. Transport to and from the school is provided by the local education authority.
