June 2008 Rural Arts Mosaic Workshop

Rural Arts joined us on 11th and 12th June to provide us with 2 days of art based Enterprise designing and making mosaic stepping stones which will be used in our sensory garden. We were joined on this occasion by Brooklands, Mowbray and Springwater Special Schools as well as Goldsborough Primary school with the Forest school as the venue. All pupils from the Forest School participated and made stepping stones which are currently being concreted and will be embedded into our sensory garden during the Autumn Term.

It was fabulous to work with the three mosaic artists Laura, Rosie and Rick. Schools too worked well together producing some excellent collaborative work. Participating schools will receive their stepping stones over the next few weeks to remind them of their Enterprise Experience at Forest.
