RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND WORSHIP

Religious Education is provided at The Forest School. The RE curriculum followed is the North Yorkshire County Agreed Syllabus. Acts of worship are provided at whole school, department and class assemblies. Parents may withdraw their son or daughter from RE and collective worship but are asked to discuss the arrangements for this with the Headteacher.

At The Forest School, we place a strong emphasis on the school ethos of respect and care for others. All members of the school community are encouraged to understand, accept and celebrate that we are members of a diverse community where people have a wide variety of views and beliefs.
