November 2007 Our Special Enterprise Day

 

Working with S’een, Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate, NYBEP, Setpoint and Enterprise Soapbox, we held a Special Enterprise Day on Thursday 22nd November 2007 at Taylors of Harrogate at their Plumpton Park factory in Harrrogate. Key Stage 4 & 5 pupils from Mowbray, Brooklands, King James School, Springhill and Springwater schools joined us to participate in 8 different Enterprise Workshops included;-

• Farhana Patel and Jacki Dealtry’s Dragon’s Den
• Phil Bunting’s Bridge Building
• Rachel Hillyard’s Music Workshop
• Robin Smith and Odette Murtland’s Advent Wreaths
• Stuart Page and Joy Silverside’s Crafttastic
• Tea Tasting by Taylors of Harrogate
• John Turner and Rachel Hillyard’s Music Workshop

All schools have expressed their thanks to the Workshop providers. It gave everyone an insight to what could be achieved under the umbrella of Enterprise within the curriculum.
